**Job Summary**
We're seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Oxford Brookes University. As a Barista, you'll be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty drinks to the highest standards.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee area, including equipment and supplies.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate supplies of coffee beans, milk, and other essentials.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless service and a positive customer experience.
- Assist in training new staff members and staying up-to-date with new coffee techniques and trends.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment.
**What We Offer**
- A competitive hourly rate of £13.50-£15.00, depending on experience.
- A 35-40 hour working week, with a 5-over-7 shift pattern.
