About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Breakfast Sous Chef to join our team at Park Plaza London Waterloo. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing, producing, and presenting high-quality meals for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Supervise and coordinate the breakfast service, ensuring smooth operations and efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes, in line with the hotel's culinary vision.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and stock levels, ensuring optimal usage and minimizing waste.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of breakfast cuisine, menu planning, and food presentation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
