Project Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our QuickFlange business unit in Aberdeen. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering operational and project management/engineering support to our business unit.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage ad hoc projects and provide support to other business lines.
  • Prepare workpacks, including implementation procedures, plans, engineering drawings, equipment lists, and materials as required.
  • Liaise with the Engineering team as needed to meet project requirements.
  • Ensure that the correct competencies of technicians are requested in accordance with job/project requirements.
  • Monitor and control relevant project costs to maximize profit.
  • Ensure timely submission of invoices to clients through the Operations Team.
  • Support Sales personnel with client management and expectations.
  • Maintain and improve technical procedures and work instructions.
  • Assist with business growth, supporting opportunities and contributing to development and management meetings.

Mandatory Training Requirements:
  • Educated to Degree level

Candidate Requirements:
  • Demonstrable track record of problem-solving and working to tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects to ensure timely completion and budget adherence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external clients
  • Experience in using a range of office software, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • SAP experience preferred but not necessary
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Presentation skills for internal and external clients
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Self-starter with a collaborative approach and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work independently and self-manage workload and others
  • Sets high standards in quality of work and excellent attention to detail
  • Flexibility and willingness to contribute to new ideas and processes
