Job Title: Lead Geotechnical Engineer

Carrington West is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and managing geotechnical projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage geotechnical projects, including design, construction, and testing
  • Develop and implement geotechnical design solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in geotechnical engineering
Requirements:
  • Chartered Civil Engineer with a strong background in geotechnical engineering
  • Proven experience in leading and managing geotechnical projects
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of geotechnical design and construction
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with geotechnical software and tools, such as PLAXIS and Z-soil
  • Knowledge of geotechnical design and construction standards and codes
  • Ability to work on large and complex projects
  • Experience in managing budgets and resources
