We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Functional Assessor. As a Paramedic Functional Assessor, you will play a crucial role in assessing individuals with physical and/or mental health conditions and determining their eligibility for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit scheme.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments with individuals to gather information about their health conditions and how they impact their daily lives.
- Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into a comprehensive report to support the decision-making process by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
- Work autonomously and use your clinical expertise to make informed decisions.
- NMC or HCPC registration is required.
- At least 1 year's broad post-registration experience and UK experience is essential.
- Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and I.T competency is a must-have.
- A competitive salary of £37,800 per year.
