Job Summary

Health Your Way is seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Worker Specialist to join our team. As a Complex Care Professional, you will provide high-quality care and support to a gentleman who requires assistance with daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized care and support to the client, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to the client and their family.
  • Work collaboratively with the client's family and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Hold a full and clean driving license and have access to your own vehicle.
  • Have at least 3 months of care experience in the UK.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.50 per hour (day rate) and £13.50 per hour (night rate).
  • Enhanced bank holiday rate of £18.75 per hour.
  • Pension scheme (if eligible).
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave per year (pro rata).
  • Full certificated training on all aspects of the role.

Working Hours

Day shifts typically cover 8.00am – 6.00pm, while night shifts cover 9.00pm – 9.30am or 11.00pm – 9.30am. Actual days of work and shift hours can be discussed and negotiated for the right candidate.
