HGV (C+E) Driver Opportunity

Location: Purfleet, Essex, UK

Join a Leading Logistics Team

As a Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) driver, you will be responsible for the safe delivery and collection of goods across various locations, adhering to all operational guidelines and safety protocols.

This role requires flexibility in your working hours, which may include nights, early mornings, and weekends. The minimum contracted hours are set at 32, but you may be expected to work up to 12.5 hours daily, often resulting in additional hours.

Your daily tasks will involve transporting goods from our advanced distribution centers to regional locations, ensuring a streamlined and efficient delivery process without multi-drop routes.

Current pay rates:

  • Monday to Saturday (Basic Rate): £17.06 - £17.74
  • Evening premium rate (18:00 - 06:00): £19.06 - £19.74
  • Sunday Day Premium: £3.49
  • Sunday Evening Premium: £5.98
  • Overtime rate (Monday to Saturday, Day Shift): £21.24 - £22.18
  • Overtime evening (18:00 - 06:00): £23.83 - £24.68

Requirements:

We seek individuals with a positive attitude and a valid category C+E driving licence. You must demonstrate safe driving practices and be adaptable regarding your shift lengths.
