Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Foiling Technician to join our team at the Window Systems Division. As a Foiling Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and overseeing the foiling process, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Setup and Oversight: Set up and operate the foiling process, ensuring optimal production and quality.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and record process parameters, conduct quality checks, and segregate non-conforming products.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate with colleagues and contracted personnel to maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Technical Activities: Perform technical tasks in accordance with production schedules and timescales.
  • Problem-Solving and Fault Rectification: Identify and resolve process and product concerns, and implement corrective actions.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional departments to promote a strong team culture and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications: Good level of numeracy and literacy, and ability to use a PC to an operational level.
  • Skills and Abilities: Good communication skills, mechanical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Attributes: Clean, neat, and tidy approach to work, punctuality, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards work.
