Position: Senior Speech and Language Therapist

Location: Phoenix Learning & Care Group

Salary: Competitive annual salary ranging from £32,000 to £39,407.31

Employment Type: Permanent - Term Time Only

As a **Speech and Language Therapist**, your role will be both fulfilling and impactful. Each day will commence with a collaborative team meeting, where you will exchange insights and work closely with your colleagues. Your responsibilities will encompass individualized sessions with students, facilitating group activities, and providing support within classroom settings. Your contributions will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism.

Additionally, you will have the chance to guide and mentor junior therapists, impart knowledge to university students, and take part in the creation of training initiatives. Ample time will be allocated for you to refine your clinical and mentoring capabilities while receiving professional supervision.

Administrative duties will be streamlined, enabling you to prioritize direct engagement with learners. During school breaks, you will have the flexibility to work remotely to manage paperwork, ensuring that your time with students remains uninterrupted.

**Core Responsibilities:**

  • Employing a trauma-informed methodology to assist learners with varied needs
  • Engaging in the admissions process for new students
  • Collaborating with the team to deliver holistic support
  • Keeping precise records and fulfilling administrative responsibilities

**Qualifications:**

  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy, HCPC Registration, and membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language
  • Extensive background in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Capability to mentor and train fellow therapists
  • Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Valid driving license for occasional offsite engagements
