Job Title: Senior Compliance and Claims Officer

Contract Type: Fixed Term - Until March 2025

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Compliance and Claims team as a Senior Compliance and Claims Officer. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing senior support for Shared Prosperity Funded programmes, including financial management and monitoring of projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and IT, with experience in line management and finance and monitoring systems. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with colleagues from different service areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and implement programme systems to monitor project budgets and output indicators
  • Prepare and present financial and monitoring reports to the Group Leader for Skills, Employability and ACL
  • Manage and monitor projects involving financial and qualitative data sets and externally funded projects

Requirements:

  • HNC or equivalent in finance or relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of IT products, including Excel, MS Access, and SQL
  • Experience in line management and finance and monitoring systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
