Job Summary

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Trainee Upholsterer at our Northern Hub in Chorley, Lancashire. As a Trainee Upholsterer, you will be responsible for:

  • Stripping down existing upholstery covers from gym equipment pads
  • Reupholstering existing upholstery covers onto gym equipment pads
  • Manufacturing gym equipment pads using existing templates
  • Using CNC machines to create new templates for gym equipment pads
  • Using sewing machines to manufacture new upholstery covers
  • Measuring bespoke jobs and manufacturing according to design specifications
  • Using various infills, including foam
  • Using hand tools to complete jobs
  • Embroidering onto upholstery covers to complete bespoke works

Requirements

To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must have two GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above in English and Maths. No prior experience is required, as training will be provided on the job. We are looking for individuals with:
