Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance their quality of life.
  • Facilitate participation in social groups and activities to combat social isolation.
  • Support with personal care tasks, including medication prompting and hygiene assistance.
  • Utilize Positive Behaviour Support Strategies to promote better living experiences.
  • Manage financial tasks such as bill payments and shopping assistance.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A caring and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to support others.
  • Strong communication skills to foster meaningful relationships.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • A positive and empathetic approach towards individuals with learning disabilities.
  • A valid driving license with a clean record.
Contract Details:

This position offers full-time contracts with varied hours as part of a rolling rota. Shift times are structured to accommodate 24-hour care services, allowing for personal planning.
