Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our client's London team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of projects, including technical designs, schedules, budgets, risk, quality, Health and Safety, and installations until the end of the defects/warranty period.
  • Communicate project scope changes to clients, contractors, and team members, managing and agreeing on any variations.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of all contractual documentation.
  • Oversee formal signoff on project deliverables and conduct supplier quality checks and site visits, including international travel.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and internal resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Negotiate with contractors and suppliers for materials and services, resolving customer issues promptly.
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, construction specialists, and clients.
  • Manage Health and Safety documentation, including risk assessments and method statements.
  • Contribute to project cost reporting and forecasting with the commercial team.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed, including estimating and administrative duties.
Desired Skills and Expertise:
  • Experience in the joinery/construction industry.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with a track record of executing projects on time and on budget.
  • Problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working in a small team setting.
  • Excellent timekeeping and computer skills, proficient in MS Office and MS Project.
  • Effective communication skills and thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices.
