Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Management Specialist to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. As a Contract Management Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert contract management services to our clients, including developing and implementing strategies to meet service needs and ensuring proper control of cost and process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide contract management expertise in managing directorate contracts, developing and implementing strategies to meet service needs and ensure proper control of cost and process.
  • Lead areas of procurement within allocated responsibility with support of key stakeholders, including Commissioning Teams, Legal and Corporate Procurement colleagues.
  • Work effectively as part of the team and Division by engaging with team/division members in the effective execution of projects.
  • Project manage individual procurement exercises within the post holder's area of work to ensure contracts are delivered in a timely fashion, within budget and to the quality standards required.
  • Work proactively and productively within the team to ensure required procurement standards are consistently applied.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and understanding of equality, social inclusion, and sustainability in the procurement framework.
  • Knowledge, experience, and understanding of working in a homelessness, housing, health, or social care context and understanding the strategic relationships between homelessness, housing, and adult social care services.

Experience:

  • Experience of working in a contract management, project management, or commissioning context.
  • Experience of managing complex relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including partner agencies and stakeholders.
  • Experience of the procurement/supplier relationship development and contracting process within a commissioning context.
  • Experience of initiating, developing, and implementing projects and being accountable for project delivery within defined deadlines.
  • Experience of analysis of financial information.
  • Experience of initiating and working within partnership arrangements with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience of establishing and operating contract monitoring arrangements.
  • Experience of applying project management techniques.
