Family Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our team at Get Staffed Online Recruitment. This exciting role offers the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support and guidance to families, maintaining accurate records of interactions and observations.
  • Engage with parents to promote positive change and support individual needs.
  • Accompany families to appointments, shopping, and recreational activities, offering support and guidance.
  • Conduct home visits and monitor families, ensuring safety and reporting concerns to the Case Manager.
  • Contribute to case discussions, team meetings, and handovers, providing accurate family assessments.
  • Facilitate or contribute to residential meetings and supervise contact sessions.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to represent the company professionally in courts, case conferences, and other forums.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
  • Clear DBS check.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent preferred. We will support applicants without this qualification to gain the necessary qualifications.
  • Right to work in the UK valid documentation.
