Overview

Oscar is looking for a highly experienced and driven Network Security Capability Architect specializing in Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to join our team on a contract basis. This role is essential as we seek a top-tier engineer to conduct gap analysis and perform comprehensive evaluations of our existing WAF solutions.

Your expertise will be crucial in navigating current project constraints across various WAF initiatives and supporting the successful execution of these projects.

This position offers a hybrid working model, requiring one day per week in the office.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Expertise in WAF Security within the financial services sector
  • Experience with both Internal and External Application WAFs
  • Familiarity with tools such as F5 WAF, Imperva, Radware, and Akamai
  • Knowledge of Cloud WAF solutions like Cloudflare
  • Penetration testing skills
  • WAF optimization and tuning experience
  • Ability to create High-Level Design Specifications (HLDS) and Low-Level Design Specifications (LLDS)

  • Strong analytical and engineering problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in team leadership and management
