DK Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Freight Forwarding Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing shipments from start to finish, including customs clearance and ATA carnet regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the movement of goods from origin to destination, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Oversee customs clearance and compliance with relevant regulations, including ATA carnet regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
- Provide expert advice on air and ocean freight, including routing, documentation, and insurance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and best practices to ensure our clients receive the highest level of service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in freight forwarding and logistics, with a strong understanding of customs procedures and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- IT literate, with proficiency in logistics software and systems.
