Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the Receptionist/Administrator include, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming patients and managing their inquiries.
- Handling incoming and outgoing telephone communications.
- Performing various administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment, requiring a professional demeanor and excellent telephone etiquette.
- Delivering a high-quality reception and administrative service to patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
- Acting as the initial point of contact for patients reaching out to the practice.
- Maintaining and overseeing the appointment scheduling system.
- Processing requests for appointments via phone, email, and in-person.
- Directing patients to the appropriate services and managing incoming correspondence.
- Assisting with data entry and maintaining patient records accurately.
- Supporting clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed.
