Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the Receptionist/Administrator include, but are not limited to:

  • Welcoming patients and managing their inquiries.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing telephone communications.
  • Performing various administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment, requiring a professional demeanor and excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Delivering a high-quality reception and administrative service to patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
  • Acting as the initial point of contact for patients reaching out to the practice.
  • Maintaining and overseeing the appointment scheduling system.
  • Processing requests for appointments via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Directing patients to the appropriate services and managing incoming correspondence.
  • Assisting with data entry and maintaining patient records accurately.
  • Supporting clinical staff with administrative tasks as needed.
