Dunbar Education is seeking a committed Special Educational Needs Support Assistant to join a distinctive educational setting designed for learners aged 6 to 19 who experience a variety of Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), including autism spectrum disorders and ADHD.


Working Hours:
Full-time position - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Term time only.

Key Responsibilities:


Contribute significantly to the educational journey of students by supporting their learning, development, and achievements across the curriculum in various settings, including classrooms, local environments, and the broader community.

Assist individuals with diverse needs, including profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), complex health conditions, and autism, in reaching their educational and personal aspirations.

Encourage an inclusive atmosphere that champions equality, diversity, and the rights of all students, ensuring they are acknowledged as learners and treated with dignity.

Promote the empowerment of young individuals to help them flourish.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of Special Education issues and embody the values of Dunbar Education in every aspect of your role.

Provide exceptional support in all areas of your responsibilities.
Engage in physical intervention and personal care routines as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:
