Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and a genuine enthusiasm for working with young children. You will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that align with the KS1 curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that align with the KS1 curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote active learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents/guardians.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement and behaviour.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, creative, and passionate about working with young children.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
