About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Model Validation Expert to join our Model Risk Management team at Adway Associates. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial models.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate financial models to ensure they meet our risk management standards.
- Conduct independent reviews of model development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring.
- Develop and implement quantitative and qualitative techniques to validate models.
- Document validation findings and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Present validation results to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with experience in financial modeling and risk management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate complex ideas.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and industry standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
About You
- You have a numerate graduate degree (Level 6) or above from a reputable university.
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a risk function, either in model development or model validation.
