About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Skilled Labourer. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will assist qualified trades personnel to carry out remedial works to a high standard, ensuring a customer-focused maintenance repairs service is delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of maintenance repairs services to customers, ensuring a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Work independently, covering a designated area, and be provided with a van and mobile device.
  • Ensure timely delivery of services, adhering to performance targets and deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven ability to carry out minor remedial building works to a competent standard, including groundworks and painting.
  • Experience of working in a customer-focused environment, with a strong emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work methodically, follow procedures, and accurately record data and information.
  • Physical ability to carry out tasks, lift weights, and work at heights, in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Current full UK driving licence.
  • Demonstrate the Guinness Behaviours.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Health and Safety knowledge.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Level II NVQ or relevant experience.
  • Experience of working within the social housing sector.
  • Experience of cleaning and clearing homes.
  • PASMA.
