Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Hulme. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a child with ASD, working closely with the inclusion team and providing individualized support in the classroom and sensory room.

About the Role:
  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
  • Support pupils consistently while responding to their individual needs
  • Work closely with the class teacher to provide a safe environment and engaging lessons
Requirements:
  • Holds a Level 2/3 qualification or relevant experience within the last 3 months supporting children in an education, social care, nursery, community/youth role, college/university placement, or volunteer roles
  • Ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
  • Two suitable references covering the last 2 years
  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
