Pricing Modeller Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pricing Modeller to join our team at Arthur Recruitment. As a Pricing Modeller, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining predictive models within our proprietary Retail Pricing suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and innovate predictive models to drive incremental revenue through retail pricing actions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement price selection changes and provide actionable insights for improving commercial performance.
  • Utilize SQL and Python for data processing, analysis, and price setting, leveraging millions of quotes to drive business growth.
  • Work closely with software developers to adapt and optimize pricing tools based on identified opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience as an analyst in Insurance, Financial Services, Retail, Travel, or other fast-paced industries.
  • Strong numerate degree, such as Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering.
  • Proficient in Python and its data science libraries for data manipulation, visualization, and statistical modeling.
  • Strong data manipulation and reporting skills in SQL and Excel; familiarity with PowerBI or Tableau is a bonus.
