Senior Landscape Architect Job Description

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is proud to represent an award-winning Environmental Consultancy specializing in landscape, environmental, and residential projects in and around Oxfordshire.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join our expanding team. As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will play a key role in a variety of projects, ranging from small to large-scale, across Residential, Industrial, Healthcare, and Commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in all aspects of projects within a collaborative team environment
  • Conduct Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA)
  • Develop detailed designs and layouts
  • Produce both hand-drawn and computer-generated sketches
  • Create construction details
  • Manage client relationships professionally
  • Lead projects and mentor junior team members
  • Attend public, client, and team meetings
Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 3+ years of industry experience
  • CMLI (Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute) status is highly advantageous but not essential
  • Experience with LVIA
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is beneficial
  • Skilled in freehand sketching
  • Experience in project leadership and supporting junior staff is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving abilities
  • Full, clean driver's license and own transportation are beneficial
