Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing high-quality, delicious meals that delight our clients and customers
  • Managing and implementing menu updates
  • Identifying ways to enhance our food services
  • Listening to and acting on customer feedback to continuously improve our offerings
  • Assisting in the development of new menus and innovative food concepts
  • Representing Defence and upholding a positive brand image
  • Monitoring stock levels to ensure kitchens are well-supplied
  • Overseeing kitchen cleanliness to maintain hygiene standards
  • Adhering to Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations

Our ideal Culinary Specialist will:

  • Have a passion for exceptional food and outstanding customer service
  • Possess a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Have experience in a supervisory role
  • Have a background in a similar culinary position
  • Hold a valid Food Hygiene certificate
  • Exhibit a flexible approach to work
