About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surveyor to join our team at JOB SWITCH LTD as an Interim Land Acquisition Surveyor. As a key member of our Strategic Asset Management team, you will play a crucial role in providing professional property advice to the council on landlord and tenant, lease management, asset reviews, and acquisition and disposal opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the property team in delivering outputs for agreed strategies, including asset optimisation and rationalisation.
  • Develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including asset management services and other departments within the council.
  • Negotiate and review the acquisition and disposal of all types of land and property assets and interests, including compulsory purchase projects.
  • Supervise complex projects, including the negotiation and review of land and property assets, and provide expert advice to the council.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Extensive experience in land acquisition and disposal, with a strong understanding of property law and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide expert advice to the council.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
