Blue Arrow is seeking a Logistics Operations Coordinator to oversee transport activities in a dynamic environment. This role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 2pm to 10pm. The successful candidate will have opportunities for advancement into supervisory positions.


Key Responsibilities of the Logistics Operations Coordinator:
* Ensure timely dispatch of deliveries
* Monitor drivers and routes using our tracking system to prevent any disruptions
* Maintain effective communication throughout the transport process
* Conduct debrief sessions with drivers upon their return
* Verify compliance through electronic proof of delivery (EPOD)
* Assign drivers to routes
* Prepare route manifests
* Liaise with site supervisors
* Facilitate handovers to management during shift changes
* Uphold a safe working environment by following all operational policies
* Manage defect reporting, contractor audits, and safety tool usage
* Handle general administrative tasks and assist at the front desk
* Provide holiday cover for supervisory roles as needed


Qualifications and Skills Required:
The ideal candidate should possess computer proficiency and a foundational understanding of Microsoft Office applications and transport management systems.
