Role Description

We are on the lookout for seasoned and dependable HGV Class 1 Yard Operatives to join our workforce on a temporary basis. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with prominent companies and acquire invaluable experience within the logistics industry.

Shift Details: Start time is 23:30, with a minimum of 8 hours paid.


Key Responsibilities
  • Operating double-decker trailers
  • Reversing and maneuvering vehicles
  • Parking and positioning trailers
  • Swapping and exchanging trailers
  • Coupling and uncoupling fifth-wheel connections

Candidate Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in Class 1 yard operations
  • Consistent driving history for the past 12 months as recorded on the tachograph
  • Valid Full UK Driving Licence
  • Current CPC certification
  • Valid Tachograph Card
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as required
