About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Planning Specialist to join our team in either Bristol or Cardiff. As a key member of our landscape planning and strategy team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of a range of landscape planning and strategic design project commissions for internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of landscape planning and strategic design projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Represent the landscape discipline internally within project teams and externally to stakeholders and clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development, client relationship building, and bid preparation.
  • Support the growth and development of junior team members, guiding and mentoring them as needed.
  • Collaborate with Arup staff across different disciplines to deliver high-quality outputs for clients.
Requirements
  • Chartered member of the Landscape Institute.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the landscape discipline effectively.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and lead on allocated project work.
  • Proficiency in graphic skills and knowledge of key software programmes/graphic packages used to create accurate visualisations.
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel across the UK, particularly in the South West and Wales.
