The school is part of the Camphill Community, a network of 11 sites in Scotland, and is committed to delivering excellent care and education.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Care to join our Leadership Team, working under the guidance of a highly experienced Executive Director.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the education team, parents, and carers, as well as other partners, to meet the needs of our children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with members of the school community, primarily, and link with other residential schools and external agencies to ensure a responsive service, professional approach, and alignment with National Care Standards and Government initiatives.
  2. Undertake day-to-day strategic leadership and management of the residential team, ensuring effective systems are in place for policies, procedures, and monitoring.
  3. Develop and deliver operational strategies and associated action plans, leveraging significant experience in a leadership role.
  4. Embody the Camphill ideology, demonstrating a commitment to and respect for its principles.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly experienced leader with a proven track record in strategic management, policy development, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of National Care Standards, Government initiatives, and the Camphill ideology.

A commitment to delivering high-quality care and education, as well as a passion for working with children and young people with special needs, is essential.
