Position Overview

Scan Alarms Systems is in search of a committed Accounts Receivable Specialist to enhance our supportive and congenial workforce. About Our Company: Located in Mallusk, Scan Alarms has been a leader in the Fire and Security Services sector for over 40 years, serving a diverse clientele across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland (ROI).

Role Responsibilities: We require a proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to oversee our credit management operations.

Your Key Duties Will Include:

  • Overseeing the complete credit management process, including generating invoices and statements.
  • Preparing customer statements utilizing Sage and Excel.
  • Recording payments in Sage 50, managing cheque transactions, bank receipts, and processing card payments.
  • Issuing credit notes through our CASH system and managing Direct Debit collections via Go Cardless.
  • Resolving customer inquiries and providing support with the purchase ledger.
  • Performing general accounting and administrative tasks as needed.

Work Schedule and Location:

  • This is a full-time position based at our Mallusk office.
  • Working Hours: 08:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).
  • Flexibility regarding start and finish times may be accommodated.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in credit control and purchase ledger management.
  • Strong skills in Sage and Excel (VLOOKUP proficiency is advantageous).
  • Ability to manage customer interactions with resilience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
