Role Overview

As an Account Manager at ASD, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and nurturing existing customer relationships. Based at our Dudley offices, you will work in a hybrid capacity, leveraging your exceptional communication skills to identify new business opportunities and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers in the multi-metal sector, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and research, staying up-to-date with industry trends and market developments.
  • Collaborate closely with the external sales team to coordinate sales efforts and ensure customer satisfaction, utilizing our CRM system to maintain accurate sales records.
  • Handle incoming customer inquiries, provide price quotes, and process orders promptly and accurately, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Stay adaptable and flexible, responding to changing priorities and working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Previous experience in a similar sales role, preferably within the multi-metal sector, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and drive sales growth.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales software tools, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • A self-motivated and goal-oriented individual, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
