Job Overview

As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for operating a variety of vehicles on an ad-hoc basis, including trunk routes, collections, and one-off deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hold a valid HGV Class 1 driver's license with no more than 6 points and have held it for at least 1 year.
  • Have a digital tachograph card.
  • Hold a CPC/Driver Qualification Card.
  • Provide proof of your right to work in the UK.
  • Have recent UK driving experience.
  • Be available to start work at the required times.
  • Have multi-drop experience.
  • Have good knowledge of the UK road network.
  • Provide two checkable references.
  • Be honest and 100% reliable.
  • Be physically fit, as loading and unloading is required.
  • Wear safety boots.

Benefits

The rate of pay for this HGV Class 1 Driver role is £19.00 per hour, and you will always be paid for a minimum of 10 hours per shift, even if the work is completed in less than 10 hours.
