About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Lead to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Community Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of person-centred care and support to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and supervise a team of Carers and Senior Carers, promoting a culture of respect, dignity, and choice for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of Carers and Senior Carers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support to residents.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents, promoting their independence, privacy, dignity, and choice.
  • Conduct regular observations and record weight and blood pressure readings, as well as perform simple wound dressing procedures.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with residents, their families, and external partners to ensure a safe and reassuring environment.
  • Collaborate with other members of the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Senior-level care experience, with a proven track record of leading and supervising a team.
  • Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to develop and implement care plans that meet individual resident needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and external partners.
  • Enthusiasm, tenacity, and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining a vibrant and supportive culture that empowers staff to put residents and their families first.
