We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at one of the UK's largest manufacturing organisations. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our factories by carrying out essential planned mechanical maintenance and completing necessary repairs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance, inspections, service, and repairs on industrial plant and equipment, including hydraulic machinery, bearings, shafts, and conveyor-based systems.
  • Develop and implement process improvements throughout the factories, identifying new ideas and better solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

  • A competitive salary of up to £48,200 per annum, plus a KPI bonus of 5% and overtime opportunities at a minimum of 1.5 times the hourly rate.

**Requirements:**

  • A recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification, such as an Advanced Apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ with BTEC Level 3 or above, City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering/Craft studies.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and expertise in PPM and reactive maintenance on industrial plant and equipment.
