Key Responsibilities

As a Cyber Security Engineer, your primary duties will include evaluating systems against internal security standards and baseline requirements, which involve:

  • Utilizing DevOps tools to streamline the review and validation of security artifacts.
  • Collaborating with Cloud Security Engineers to ensure consistent application of security artifacts.
  • Managing Cloud Security platforms to establish and configure policies.
  • Assessing the implications of changes in technology roadmaps on existing or new security artifacts.
  • Developing, maintaining, and enhancing critical Cyber Security Services, including procedures, processes, and related documentation.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will possess a robust technical background, including:

  • Self-motivated and eager to learn and deliver.
  • Focused on outcomes, ensuring that details align with overall objectives.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Cyber Security domains and Cloud Security (GCP, Azure).
  • Practical technical experience with the ability to interpret code.
  • Developer experience is a plus.
  • Advocate for secure-by-design principles throughout the lifecycle at Lloyds Banking Group.
  • Enthusiastic about automating repetitive tasks.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
  • Solid understanding of Docker and Kubernetes technologies.
