The Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at EMG Motor Group, a family-owned and operated business with a strong commitment to excellence. As a key member of our dealership, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch vehicle service and repair to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled vehicle servicing in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic activities to identify and resolve customer vehicle issues
  • Carry out electronic visual health checks (EVHC) on all vehicles and provide detailed reports with expert advice and recommendations
  • Interact directly with customers and service advisors, delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ensure vehicle servicing activities are completed safely and to a high standard, meeting both internal and manufacturer requirements
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on product and service knowledge
  • Contribute to process improvements and innovations within the dealership
  • Mentor and guide apprentice technicians, as needed

Requirements

  • Level 3 vehicle technician qualification
  • Full UK driving license (essential)
  • Manufacturer experience (desirable)
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines
