Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Banking Lawyer to join our expanding team within an award-winning national law firm. As a Banking Lawyer, you will be responsible for a variety of legal work including corporate banking, asset-based lending, leveraged finance, real estate finance, government finance, and debt capital market transactions.
About the Role:
As a Banking Lawyer, you will be working closely with the corporate and real estate teams on financing aspects of their deals. You will be responsible for advising clients on complex financial transactions, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and providing strategic guidance on financial matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on corporate banking, asset-based lending, leveraged finance, real estate finance, government finance, and debt capital market transactions
- Working closely with the corporate and real estate teams on financing aspects of their deals
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including loan agreements, security documents, and other financial instruments
- Providing strategic guidance on financial matters, including risk assessment and mitigation
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in banking and finance law, with a minimum of 12 months PQE. You will also need to have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to think on your feet and deploy knowledge in changing situations.
