We are seeking a highly skilled Day Electrical Engineer to join our team at ReFood Ltd, Doncaster Site. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our anaerobic digestion facility.
Key Responsibilities- Perform day-to-day maintenance of all plant and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Design and implement site electrical installations and upgrade work, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Work under Health & Safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Electrical maintenance of the plant, including the ppm system, to prevent downtime and ensure continuous production.
- Routine electrical maintenance and repairs according to planned maintenance schedules, including the completion of risk assessments.
- Troubleshoot and solve complex electrical problems, providing timely solutions to minimize production losses.
- Provide production support within the shift team and provide shift cover when required.
- Assist other mechanical/operational departments as needed, promoting a collaborative working environment.
- At least 10 years' experience working in an industrial background, preferably in an anaerobic digestion facility or related field.
- Served a recognized Electrical Apprenticeship and have extensive electrical experience working in a continuous process environment.
- Proven experience with fault finding, including troubleshooting, and solving complex electrical problems.
- Familiarity with general factory maintenance practices, including installation knowledge of PLC's, Controls, automation, and wiring.
- Ability to work using your own initiative, as well as part of a team, and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Motivated individual with a strong commitment to health and safety and environmental sustainability.
