We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Flexcon Europe Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality training programs that align with our business goals and employee development needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough training needs assessments to identify the learning and development needs across the organization.
  • Design blended learning solutions, including digital, face-to-face, social collaborative learning, coaching, and action learning sets.
  • Use digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning programs.
  • Apply adult learning theories to ensure employees get the best out of their development.
  • Design a range of learning interventions, including technical, behavioral, and leadership programs, working with external partners where relevant.
  • Deliver core learning content, including induction, regulatory, soft skills, and management development.
  • Identify learning and development needs across the organization, working closely with HR Business Partners and other key stakeholders to continuously evolve the learning initiatives and curriculum.
  • Collaborate with the Global Learning and Development Manager to support global learning initiatives.
  • Create instructional materials, such as manuals, guides, and multimedia presentations.
  • Utilize various instructional techniques to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, surveys, and feedback.
  • Continuously improve training content and methods based on participant feedback and organizational needs.
  • Manage and maintain Europe's Learning Management System (LMS) modules, ensuring all content is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Drive a culture of continuing professional development (CPD).
  • Facilitate learning interventions.
  • Create a coaching culture in the organization.
  • Plan, schedule, deliver, and report on training, ensuring quality and effectiveness measures are met. Track and report on training attendance, completion rates, and other key metrics.
  • Support the development of individual learning plans for employees to enhance their skills and career growth.
  • Provide coaching and support to employees and managers on performance improvement and career development.
  • Ensure all training programs comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Manage and track employee certifications and continuing education requirements.
  • Work closely with external suppliers/providers to coordinate training efforts and resources.
  • Communicate the value and importance of learning and development initiatives to all stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in learning and development.
  • Recommend and implement new learning strategies, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Support, contribute, and where appropriate lead, on HR-related projects to add value to the business.
  • Assist with other HR administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification in Organizational Learning and Development – preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing the complete learning cycle, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating learning in a professional skills environment.
  • Strong planning and project management skills with experience in managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in e-learning software (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with virtual training tools and technologies.
  • Adaptability and willingness to embrace change.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
  • A keen eye for attention to detail.
