About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Media and Press Officer to join our Communications team at the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting our work and inspiring people about wildlife and conservation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective media strategies to raise awareness of our work and promote our brand
  • Write and distribute press releases, articles, and social media content to engage with our audience and promote our work
  • Handle media enquiries and respond to requests for information and interviews
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the trust to develop and deliver engaging content for our social media channels and other communications platforms
What We're Looking For
  • A strong background in media and communications, with experience of working in a similar role
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content
  • A friendly and approachable personality, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
