Field Service Engineer - Rotating Machinery

Due to continued growth, our client, a leading manufacturer of rotating machinery, is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team. This role involves travel in the UK, Europe, and America, requiring the ability to spend time away from home. The ideal candidate will have a 60/40 split between UK and overseas travel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service, commissioning, and installation of rotating machinery
  • Preventive maintenance and technical support
  • Guiding customers through operational challenges and offering comprehensive product knowledge
  • Travel across the UK, Europe, and America
Requirements:
  • Electrical engineering background with experience in automation
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and control systems
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
  • Experience working with bearings and moving parts
  • Qualification in engineering and UK driving licence
