We are thrilled to announce an exceptional opportunity for a Head of Audio to become a vital part of our innovative team in Manchester.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong customer-centric approach, coupled with extensive expertise in live audio engineering and a comprehensive understanding of event production.
This role necessitates effective collaboration and teamwork across various departments, contributing to sustained client satisfaction and overall success.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical assistance to project managers and technicians.
- Supervise the setup and upkeep of audio equipment to ensure adherence to high standards.
- Conduct routine service, maintenance, and repairs of audio equipment.
- Investigate and suggest new products and equipment investments.
- Incorporate new equipment into operational use.
- Plan, coordinate, and schedule RF frequencies.
- Design audio systems tailored for a variety of events.
- Provide training as necessary.
- Lead a team of engineers during large-scale productions.
- Collaborate with performers and their engineers to fulfill technical specifications.
- Maintain rental software to ensure it is up to date.
- Execute additional tasks as required by the business.
Required Skills:
- Highly driven with robust leadership capabilities and a collaborative work ethic.
- Extensive experience within the live events sector.
- Proficient in Yamaha and Allen & Heath digital consoles.
- Familiar with d&b ArrayCalc and R1 software.
- Knowledgeable in Dante and Qlab.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Adept at managing multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines.
- Flexible, customer-oriented mindset.
- High standards of presentation and meticulous attention to detail.
- Solid IT proficiency.

Working Hours:
