About the Role

Safran Landing Systems is a world leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, committed to safer, more sustainable aviation for current and future generations. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing and supporting electro-mechanical test systems, working with a team of experts to design and develop electrical interface systems within our Test facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement electrical interfacing, PLC/HMI systems, and related controls to company standards
  • Design and installation of electrical circuitry
  • Programming of PLC/HMI systems
  • Motor control, electrical actuation, and power generation equipment
  • Understanding of hydraulic circuit functionality and servo hydraulic systems
  • Knowledge of electrical calibration of transducers and testing techniques

Requirements

  • Time served Apprenticeship, HNC/HND or BEng degree, plus relevant work experience
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety
  • Task management skills to meet exact requirements and deliver customer satisfaction
  • Clear communication skills allowing you to liaise with customers and suppliers
