About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at DP World. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing general maintenance, repairs, and installations to our facilities and office locations across the Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including basic repairs, installations, and inspections to ensure our facilities and equipment are in good working condition.
- Conduct assessments and identify problems to prevent equipment failure and minimize downtime.
- Escort and induct external contractors to site, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist in the repair and resolution of plumbing systems, including toilets, sinks, and other equipment.
- Carry out racking inspections to SEMA standards and perform PPM checks to site infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Experience performing facility and equipment-related maintenance in a large facility.
- Strong general repairs background, including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and decorating.
- Essential driving license.
