POSITION OVERVIEW

We are in search of a qualified individual to take on the role of Global IT Security Architect - Expert Director as we embark on the development of a Generative AI Assistant that aims to revolutionize our operational processes.

In this role, you will engage in Security Engineering, Architecture, and Automation across the global framework of BCG, focusing on enhancing security measures in line with emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future security strategies of BCG, particularly in relation to Generative AI products. As a Global IT Security Architect, your responsibilities will include designing and implementing security solutions that are scalable, efficient, and cost-effective to meet our organizational needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Tackle security issues associated with Generative AI, including access management and encryption for storage solutions such as Vector DB and Graph DB.
  2. Collaborate closely with Enterprise and Security Architecture teams to ascertain their security needs and devise appropriate solutions.
  3. Conduct security design and application architecture evaluations utilizing risk assessment and threat modeling methodologies (e.g., STRIDE-LM) within enterprise settings.
  4. Create and disseminate secure design patterns and coding best practices across various programming languages and platforms, including APIs, hybrid multi-region cloud environments, and container technologies.
  5. Implement Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and DevSecOps practices and tools.
  6. Ensure adherence to regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and industry standards (e.g., NIST SSDF, OWASP Top 10, SAMM, ASVS).
  7. Utilize vulnerability scanning tools and penetration testing techniques to identify and address application vulnerabilities.
  8. Oversee and administer security technologies, including Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions and secrets management systems.
  9. Partner with solution architects and engineering teams to integrate security recommendations at the architectural level.
  10. Manage projects encompassing technical planning, design specifications, vendor assessments, and reporting.
  11. Adapt to rapidly changing environments with evolving schedules and priorities.
  12. Conduct security assessments of network designs and implementations.
  13. Operate within an Agile framework.
  14. Prepare and review monthly progress reports and metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. BA degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Over 10 years of experience in design, implementation, and consulting for distributed applications and security/compliance.
  3. At least 5 years of experience in software development and AI/ML or related technology domains.
  4. A minimum of 10 years of experience in security/compliance roles.
  5. At least 7 years of experience in network security engineering with large-scale global implementations.
  6. Proven expertise in network and Cloud security architecture, design, and best practices for globally distributed environments across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  7. Experience in addressing security challenges in multi-tenant data pipelines.
  8. Familiarity with Cloud Native technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
  9. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP and DNS.
  10. Experience with NextGen and Cloud Native Firewalls, as well as intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  11. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  12. Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  13. Strong organizational, written communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  14. Expertise in cloud security for platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  15. Knowledge of encryption technologies and their application.
  16. Ability to conduct comprehensive security risk assessments and formulate mitigation strategies.
  17. Experience with IAM, including SSO, access control, and user provisioning.
  18. Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and interpreting their results.
  19. CISSP and other security certifications are preferred.
