Job Summary

Anord Mardix, a leading provider of critical power solutions, is seeking a skilled Technical Engineer to join our team in Blackburn, England. As a key member of our Modular Solutions team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing technical aspects of specifications, providing technical direction, and facilitating project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and approve drawings, assist with design and development, and submit technical specifications.
  • Provide technical direction in product design and facilitate project execution.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, recognize system deficiencies, and implement effective technical solutions.
  • Develop and execute modular solution work plans and schedules, collaborating with project engineers and teams.
  • Coordinate and assist with modular projects as required.
  • Assist with all technical aspects of modular projects, including strategic development of technology and design.
  • Plan and execute testing of power pods with the Commissioning Manager to ensure quality control.
  • Minimize exposure and risk throughout the project.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role, with a high standard of attention to detail and ability to work accurately to deadlines.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in LV Switchgear and Modular Solutions, preferably as an engineer.
  • Data Centre experience is desirable.
  • Current and relevant ECS card.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
