Expansion in the UK: Since our entry into the UK market, we have established a significant presence with over 640 WTGs/700MW under service and maintenance contracts, and we are focused on further growth in the onshore sector.

Role Overview: As a Mobile Wind Energy Technician, you will collaborate with various departments within the UK and across our group companies to uphold the high service standards expected from a market leader.

While the majority of your work will be conducted in the UK, occasional assignments may require travel to Germany and other countries within the Deutsche Windtechnik group.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on wind turbines following Deutsche Windtechnik protocols.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including work orders, checklists, and safety assessments.
  • Lead a team of technicians, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Replace major turbine components such as generators and gearboxes.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Assist in all aspects of site operations.
  • Ensure safe access and egress for all personnel on site.
  • Maintain general safety standards across operations.
  • Comply with customer site regulations.
  • Report incidents in accordance with company health and safety policies.
  • Be open to training and conducting statutory inspections as required.
  • Participate in on-call rotations during weekends and holidays.


Qualifications:
Candidates should possess or be pursuing:

  • Relevant formal qualifications, minimum SVQ/NVQ level 3 (electrical, mechanical, etc.) and/or substantial experience in a related field.
  • Ideally, two years of experience in hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical roles within industrial settings such as wind farms or power stations.
  • A valid driving license.

Additional Requirements:
