Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Design team in delivery of their responsibilities, ensuring a focused approach to meet customer requirements and project objectives.
  • Be accountable for expenditure, drive efficiency, and manage overall outturn costs for design, producing design deliverables within allocated resource hours and by key dates.
  • Organise all elements of design, documenting it in the Design Management Plan and preparing monthly status update reports as necessary.
  • Attend and contribute to all relevant programme, project, and technical meetings.
  • Ensure that the technical solution is produced to outperform on costs, whilst maintaining quality standards and delivery on time.
  • Provide technical support during construction, assembly, and commissioning stages.
  • Ensure that all technical work is undertaken to the correct standards and specifications, following the appropriate systems of work and quality assurance.
  • Contribute to achieving sustainability targets, particularly by reducing embodied and operational Carbon Footprints of solutions.
  • Communicate and work effectively with people from other partner organisations, backgrounds, and disciplines.
  • Represent the whole of the MWH business and RSK Group of companies in all client contacts and promote the MWH / RSK reputation.
  • Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
